Is paragliding safe?

Flying high above the ground with only a piece of cloth above you? Is that safe?! The answer is yes; provided you are well trained as a pilot, and are able to respond appropriately to different flight situations. In addition, being able to properly estimate the weather conditions is also very important for the safe practice of the sport.

All this is given extensive attention in our courses. The materials we use and the conditions in which we teach you how to fly are all very safe. The modern paraglider is made of high-tech materials and years of research in the field of aerodynamics, among other things, guarantee you an extremely safe wing. For example, did you know that one such line can carry about 200kg?

To make use of all these techniques and knowledge, it is very important that you learn paragliding at an experienced flying school who understands this sport to its core. The Paragliding Holland Instruction Team has more than 35 years (!!) of flying experience, and has been teaching paragliding for over 30 years. Our passion is flying, keep improving ourselves AND teaching you!

We are happy to help you with the practical and theoretical knowledge to learn paragliding in a responsible and safe way. Don’t hesitate to contact us for more information!
